The clergy and parishioners of the Anglican Parish of St John’s Sorrento and St Andrew’s Rye welcome you to our website!
Our Parish is a place of Hospitality, Creativity, Justice, Spirituality and Healing where all generations are welcome to join us in Worship.
Take a moment to explore our website and contact us for further information.
Sunday 30th July , 10.30 at St Andrew’s Rye. Join us for our Parish Service!
We will be having lunch together afterwards (you are invited to bring a plate of food to share).
Please note— no service at St John’s Sorrento on this date.
The Parish has 12 Pastoral Groups, each with a Group Leader. Groups meet regularly for prayer and fellowship with one group leading the way in having Sunday Lunch together. This structure means that every member of the Parish has a point of reference in a small group setting – rather than only in the Parish as a whole. One focus for the groups is lay leadership (in other words, not the Priest, Curate, Assistant Priests etc) so it really is a ‘grass-roots’ model of coming together as a community. Ultimately groups will gather around specific themes and explore opportunities together. If you would like further information or to join one of our groups, please contact Fr Nicholas Wallace.
