St John’s 150th Anniversary Garden Party

The first of many events to mark St John’s 150th Anniversary was a well attended Garden Party held at the perfect location of Sorrento Golf Club last Sunday.

The wonderful ambience, created by the perfect location, warm sunshine, delicious finger food and the sounds of light classical music and jazz played by the Southern String Quartet made for an unforgettable experience.
A well received short amusing and informative talk was given by Clive Smith, President of the Nepean Historical Society. We plan to invite Clive at a date yet to be decided to impart his great knowledge of the history of St John’s Church and its environs.

Encouraged by the success of the Garden Party, the planning committee are turning our attention to our future events.
